A burglar is being mercilessly mocked for bearing an uncanny resemblance to Abraham Lincoln.
Sam Proctor, 33, raided a Nuneaton house for a Rolex and power tools in February.
Warwickshire Police posted a picture of his mugshot after he was caught and jailed for three years.
They even poked fun at his pockets being so full they ‘jingled’ as he reportedly fled the scene of a burglary.
But it was people online who got really stuck in, comparing him to the 16th US president and Mr Tumnus from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
‘What in the Mr Tumnus is that?’ one asked.
Another joked: ‘Has anyone informed the chief elf of his arrest? The elf elders will be livid.’

In a niche reference to Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, one wrote: ‘Not enough!! Judge should have given him 4 score and 7 years.’
Proctor declined to comment after his arrest, saying only: ‘I didn’t do none of those that you’re alleging I’ve done.’
Detective Constable Gore said: ‘It is extraordinary that a very small number of people feel they can invade someone else’s home and help themselves to other people’s things.
‘We know how upsetting this is for victims and that’s why, as a force, we are prioritising catching burglars.
‘The message is simple. Break into someone’s home and we will do everything we can to get you locked up.’
