Police have taken the step to launch a direct appeal on behalf of a widow left heartbroken following the theft of her Rolex. West Mercia Police issued the appeal on August 17 after thieves struck in the early hours of the morning in Worcestershire.
The victim has appealed directly to thieves after the gold ladies Rolex wristwatch was stolen in a home burglary at around 4am on June 27. The £8,000 watch was gifted to the victim by her now late husband.
A presentation box that came with the watch and shows the serial number was also stolen. Officers are currently investigating the theft, but the woman has appealed directly for the watch’s return due to its sentimental value.
